Beach management work is due to commence
We are sharing this on behalf of Northumberland County Council.
Beach Works Newbiggin: Beach management work is due to commence on Newbiggin beach from Monday the 8th of June 2026 until Friday the 12th of June 2026.
The work will include the use of heavy plant and machinery and will take place between the hours of 7.30am and 5pm.
Members of the public are advised to exercise caution when they are in the area, with some sections of the beach not accessible whilst work is being carried out.
