Oh yes they did! Well done Pantomime by the Sea

Back in July the Town Council supported Pantomime by the Sea with £300 in grant funding towards the set up and materials required to create their new community Panto.
Deputy Mayor Lynn Burns attended on Friday 13th December and thoroughly enjoyed herself.
‘On Friday December 13th myself and family members went to see Jack and the Beanstalk at the Women’s Institute Hall. This pantomime was written by a local lady Fiona Rowley with the cast and music from locals within the Town.
We all waited for the start of the show and we weren’t disappointed, it was great fun to see Ebb and Flo come to life to give us a truly enjoyable and funny show. All from children as young as 2 years old to the elderly laughed aloud with oh no and oh yes it is. At the interval the ladies from the WI provided refreshments and mince pies getting us all in the festive spirit. The second half was as good as the first with children dancing, laughing and taking part in the singing at the end of the show.
I had a lovely evening and it was so good to see local people and friends taking part in the pantomime, Newbiggin by the Sea has some amazing people and fantastic talent that we should be very proud of.
I hope everyone enjoyed as much as me and my family did. ‘
I would just like to wish everyone A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year for 2020.
Deputy Mayor
Lynn Burns
