Supporting Newbiggin Environment Network
In November 2025, during the Finance and HR Committee meeting, Newbiggin Town Council approved a £170 grant for Newbiggin Environment Network. This funding has helped them secure a licence to screen an inspiring film “Power Station”.
In January 2026, Cllr Gwen Woodman, Mayor of Newbiggin by the Sea, had the pleasure of presenting the cheque on behalf of the Town Council.
Newbiggin Environment Network would like to invite you to see the screening of “𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻” – a heart-warming story about the power of neighbours working together.
