Great British Spring Clean 2026
The Great British Beach Clean 2026 is scheduled to take place from 13th March – 29th March 2026 run by Keep Britain Tidy.
Weβre inviting local residents, community groups, and organisations in making a positive impact across our town.

Newbiggin Learning Hive are holding a Community Litter Pick on 16th March, meet at the Hive for 9:30am where equipment and refreshments will be provided. All is welcome to attend. Thank you to Melanie for your continued help and support in the Community!
Join Newbiggin Maritime Centre for a Community Beach Clean-Up on Friday 10th April 2026 at 10:00am-1:00pm. Help make a difference for the environment, marine life and future generations. Meet under the sail at the Maritime Centre. There will be gloves, bags and supplied provided, refreshments and a Certificate of participation for the children.
