Supporting Local Talent in Newbiggin
In November 2025, at the Finance & HR Committee meeting, Members of Newbiggin Town Council agreed to a grant of £1,949.95 to Newbiggin Boxing Club.
This funding purchased a dual adjustable cable pulley machine as well as additional items – that supports a full-body workout and a variety of training exercises.
Cllr Gwen Woodman, Mayor of Newbiggin by the Sea, had the pleasure of presenting the cheque to the club.
Newbiggin Town Council is proud to support the club’s success and the dedication of it’s young boxers. The future of Newbiggin Boxing Club looks bright – and we can’t wait to see even more local talent rise through the ranks!
