Important information for Northumberland bird keepers

NEW housing measures introduced on 30 October to protect against Avian Flu

You must now keep your birds housed if:

You have more than 50 birds
You have poultry (any number) which are kept to give away/sell eggs, poultry or live birds

You do not have to house your birds if you keep less than 50 birds and their eggs or poultry products are for YOUR OWN use only.
