Supporting our Community
At a meeting of the Finance & HR Committee held on 17th July 2025, members considered a grant request from Newbiggin Bowling Club. Members unanimously agreed to the request of £2,000. This has enabled them to purchase a defibrillator which will be mounted on the wall for all to use in an emergency and a water boiler.
Cllr Gwen Woodman, Chair of Newbiggin by the Sea, visited Newbiggin Bowling Club on 10th September 2025 with a cheque.
Newbiggin Bowling Club are located at the Southern end of Newbiggin by-the-Sea, they enjoy wonderful views of the local coastline while playing the sport they love. The club prides itself on being inclusive, welcoming individuals of all ages and skill levels, including beginners.
