Supporting Escape Family Support with a Grant
On 17th July 2025 during the Finance and HR Committee, members unanimously agreed to support Escape Family Support with a donation of £750. This funding will contribute to training for volunteers and service users.
Cllr Gwen Woodman, Chair of Newbiggin by the Sea, presented the cheque to Jenny Earl, a member from Escape Family Support on 2nd September 2025, recognising their vital work across Northumberland County.
Escape Family Support offers confidential, tailored services for carers and families affected by drug and alcohol abuse. Their support includes a 24/7 Helpline, Crisis Support, One-to-One sessions, Counselling, Bereavement Support, Court/Prison Support, Family Therapy.
