The Good Garden Award 2025

Attention, Newbiggin by the Sea residents! Your beautiful gardens could be in the spotlight this year as Town Councillors are on the lookout for the best gardens that can be seen by the passing public in each ward. From now until mid July, our councillors will be admiring gardens across the town.

If your garden catches their eye, you’ll receive a special slip through your door inviting you to participate in The Good Garden Award 2025! But that’s not all – you can also nominate your neighbour’s garden if you think it deserves recognition. Let’s celebrate the green thumbs in our community and the beauty they bring to our town.

These will then be judged by our guest judge from Wansbeck Garden Centre.

Let’s make Newbiggin by the Sea bloom like never before!
