Exciting news!

Kaitlyn Waddell, a talented young athlete from our town, has been chosen to represent Great Britain in the under 20s team at the Loughborough International this Sunday!

Kaitlyn is not just any athlete; she is the reigning English Schools Champion in hammer throw, showing great skill and strength in her sport. This is an incredible achievement for Kaitlyn as it is her first call-up to the Great Britain team, and there will be many more.

Newbiggin Town Council wishes her the very best of luck. We all know she will make us proud, and we can’t wait to see what she will achieve next. Go, Kaitlyn!
