Milburn Park Play Area Official Opening
Milburn Park Play Area will be officially opened tomorrow morning at 10am. All are welcome to attend.
The Town Council have adjusted the plans for Milburn Park to no longer include the splash play that was consulted on in 2021.
Members felt the maintenance costs of splash play would be too costly and due to the proximity of the beach felt the splash play opportunities were already provided in the Bay below.
In considering what to do with this remaining area the Town Council would like to again consult with our community so that we can best provide the facilities you want to see. A consultation will go live after Easter.
Milburn Park Play Area is situated at Needles eye (the south of the bay)
