Return of the Enhanced Services Team

This week we are very pleased to welcome Phil and Mark back to Newbiggin by the Sea on an Enhanced Services contract via Northumberland County Council.

We received many positive comments about the work ethics of Phil and Mark last year and the noticeable difference they made around the town.

Their initial focus of work is clearing sand from the promenade to make it accessible and enhancing the environmental areas on the promenade. Once this is in hand they will move onto the town centre and the wider town.

They will be painting seats and bus shelters, litter picking in hot-spot areas and ensuring that the play areas are clean, tidy and well maintained as well as working on some small environmental projects.
