August Community Litter Pick

5 volunteers attended the Town Council organised litter pick on Sunday 19th August and we collected 9 bags of litter from Woodhorn Village and into Newbiggin as far as Woodhorn Farm estate. A lot of the litter appeared to be fast food packaging, can and bottles. It’s looks so much nicer now and the rain held off for us too.

The last of our planned litter picks for the year takes place on 23rd September at 10am, meeting at Sea Crest Road.
