Join Space for Shorebirds wildlife rangers for a two-hour guided walk along East Sea Sands – a very special place for shorebirds. The mosaic of muddy and rocky habitats provides food and shelter for many different species, and it is a great location to learn tips on how to identify the different birds we see.

We will meet at 10am outside Newbiggin Maritime Centre, who have kindly offered hot drinks vouchers for after the walk, and from there head north towards Beacon Point, stopping regularly to view the birds using the shore.
