The annual display of Christmas Lights throughout the town is provided by Newbiggin Town Council.
The Christmas lights switch on and associated events are organised by Newbiggin Traders Association and supported by Newbiggin Town Council and many other sponsors. The Christmas Tree is supplied by the Traders and its lights are officially switched on every year at the Band Stand and themed celebrations take place.
The 2017 event took place on Saturday 25th November commencing at 4pm
