Join Space for Shorebirds wildlife rangers for a two-hour guided walk along the shore at Newbiggin East Sea Sands. This is an incredibly special place for shorebirds, and a great place to begin to learn more about the different species and how to tell them apart.

We will meet at Church Point car park at 10am, and head north along the shore towards Beacon Point, taking our time to watch the wildlife we encounter along the way. Hot drinks vouchers have kindly been provided by Newbiggin Maritime Centre to use after the event.

No prior knowledge is required and optics will be available to use on the day if you don’t have your own. Spaces for this event are limited, so please follow the link below to book your place.
