Our town centre office is located at 76 Front Street. The office will be open to the public between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon Monday to Friday.

A community spring clean of the town centre and surrounding streets. All equipment will be provided although volunteers are expected to bring their own gloves.
In 2018 between the months of February and September the Town Council hosted 9 community litter picks in attempt to improve the environment in Newbiggin for residents, visitors and wildlife.
The litter picks covered various open spaces and housing estates, were attended by Councillors, Officers and the public and saw a total of 82 bags of litter removed from Newbiggin.
We’re kicking off our 2019 calendar of litter picks with the Keep Britain Tidy Great British Spring Clean and hope you will support us as you did last year.
